The Big Chill
We have been invited back to The Big Chill this year. Splendid! We are on the Sanctuary stage on Sunday 5th August at 4pm for an hour. Once again you will have to subject yourself to a stride up the hill but we hope to make it well worth your while with some juicy fresh material. Personally speaking the Sanctuary Stage has the best vibe of the festival so if you've not been up there.....

Vienna
Just back from a week in Vienna with the Duke Quartet playing alongside Rosas Dance Company. We performed in the Theatre an den Wien where Beethoven lived and performed for 2 years. Among other music we played his monumental 'Grosse Fugue'. A complete and profound thrill.

Eros Eris
The shows at the Linbury of 'Eros Eris' went very well with the Guardian saying 'Composer John Metcalfe responds to this concept with gusto, his score alternating between lulling interludes and jagged tempests of percussive sound' and the Times stating 'Music by the composer John Metcalfe, played live by a four-piece band, slips from spare resonance to Reichian sprightliness to tingly film score stylings'. I guess they're right!
